LPBank has officially achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and completed the PCI DSS v4.0.1 readiness assessment, reinforcing its commitment to security across a multi‑layer architecture. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, the latest international standard for information security management, requires robust controls across the design, operation, and continual improvement of systems to identify, control, and reduce risks in an increasingly complex digital environment. The independent assessment conducted by BSI covered the bank's core banking infrastructure and digital platforms, with results showing effective control and protection of key information and transactions. The rapid completion of the transition and certification under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 underscores LPBank's proactive stance in security and governance. In parallel, PCI DSS v4.0.1 readiness was completed, with international security firm ControlCase issuing a Letter of Comfort confirming the LPBank card processing system meets stringent compliance requirements and is progressing toward formal certification. According to LPBank staff, meeting these standards strengthens the bank's ability to prevent suspicious transactions, supports the development of diverse card services, and enhances a safer and faster payment experience, especially for online transactions. The system now meets all 12 core requirements of PCI DSS v4.0.1, from network security to strong data encryption and multi‑factor authentication, with continuous 24/7 security monitoring. Luu Danh Duc, Deputy General Director in charge of IT at LPBank, commented that in a rapidly digitizing environment, information security is not only a technical requirement but a foundational element to improve customer experience and trust. The achievement demonstrates LPBank's commitment to establishing international best practices in security and governance. LPBank has also unveiled the next‑generation LPBank Plus digital banking app, designed with an AI‑first approach and integrated AI into the customer transaction experience. The app is built on a multi‑layer security framework and adheres to international standards, including ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The combined strengthening of security and digital product development demonstrates LPBank's progress toward becoming a modern digital bank where technology and information security together deliver a trusted financial experience for customers.
