Two Hermès handbags owned by Mrs. Truong My Lan are scheduled to be auctioned by the Ho Chi Minh City Enforcement of Civil Judgments Office (THADS). The auction will be conducted online, with registration and deposit payments required in advance.
Asset 1: A white Hermès handbag, size 30, with no stones or embellishments, in used condition. The starting price is over VND 2.3 billion. The deposit is over VND 468.7 million (20% of the starting price). The auction time is 10:00 to 10:30 on May 21, 2026.
Asset 2: A white Hermès handbag, size 25, with white stones on the clasp and the bag edge, in used condition. The starting price is over VND 1.7 billion. The deposit is over VND 354.3 million (20% of the starting price). The auction time is 11:00 to 11:30 on May 21, 2026.
The bidding increment is VND 50 million per step.
From May 6 to May 18, individuals and organizations may register to purchase the bidding dossier, submit the dossier, and pay the deposit to participate in the online auction.
Participants must create an account on the online bidding information portal: https://trungtamdaugiatphcm.daugiavna.vn to receive instructions on obtaining the bidding documents and participating online.
According to the notice, registrants must be individuals or organizations not prohibited by the asset auction law or related laws, and must be eligible to register ownership or usage rights if the asset requires such registration.
Participation requires submitting a valid bidding participation dossier and the required deposit to the asset auction organizer as prescribed by the Asset Auction Law and related laws. If the law imposes conditions for participation, the participant must meet them.
Participants may authorize another person in writing to participate on their behalf. Registrants bear full responsibility and may be sanctioned under applicable law if they fail to meet registration conditions under the Asset Auction Law and related laws.
The notice states that the following persons are not allowed to register: those lacking civil conduct; those with civil capacity limitations; those with cognitive impairments or who cannot control their actions; and relatives of the auctioneer or people directly involved in the auction. People working in the asset auction organization, close relatives of the auctioneer, those who directly assess or value the asset, and others as described by law may also be restricted.
If the law imposes conditions for participation, the participant must satisfy them. The debtor may recover the asset one day before the auction opens if they pay enforcement costs and related expenses. The debtor must reimburse actual costs to the registry of bidders.
