For fiscal year 2025, Mixue reported total revenue of approximately VND 128,130 billion (about USD 5 billion), up 35.2% year-on-year. Net profit reached over VND 22,630 billion, up 33.1%.
Mixue operates under a franchise model in which individual investors open stores using the brand and purchase equipment, packaging, and beverage ingredients directly from the parent company. Revenue is generated primarily through supplying materials and equipment to franchisees, rather than franchise service fees.
In the 2025 financial statements, the materials and equipment distribution segment generated more than RMB 125.1 billion, accounting for 97.6% of total system revenue. Revenue from franchise service fees accounted for about 2.4%. The distribution structure indicates Mixue functions more like a large-scale producer and distributor of ingredients than a conventional retail beverage chain.
By the end of 2024, Mixue had approached 60,000 stores globally, with the majority concentrated in China. In Vietnam and Indonesia, store counts edged down as management sought to optimize the existing network, including reconfiguring sites, upgrading locations, and restructuring the network.
Since late 2023, tensions between some store owners and Mixue persisted into 2024–2025, with some owners leaving the system. The reported drivers include Mixue Vietnam’s policy of cutting retail prices for customers by 10%–25% to boost competition and market share, while prices for raw materials sold to franchisees declined only 8%–10%.
Store owners in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City organized protests at the company’s headquarters. They argued that the policy changes shift risk and losses onto investors, making “selling more” less profitable while occupancy and labor costs continued to rise. They also pointed to rapid franchising as a factor that pushed store counts too high and intensified intra-market competition.
At the MIXUE 2025 Franchise Conference, held at the end of last year, Mixue announced a strategy to upgrade operations and move from rapid expansion to a “sustainable expansion” phase. The focus was described as lean operations, enhanced customer experience, and sustainable profit growth.
Following a Hong Kong IPO on 03/03/2025, Mixue’s cash and cash equivalents increased 79.9%, reaching nearly RMB 20 billion.
