Continuing large-scale, multi-day job fairs reflect a clear demand for labor in the industrial zones of Nghe An. The province is implementing multiple measures to improve labor quality and meet the requirements of industrial development.
On April 25, at the WHA Nghe An Industrial Park, the “2nd Job Fair of 2026” was held with the participation of dozens of enterprises.
The event was organized by the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone in cooperation with various departments and local authorities, drawing 15 enterprises to directly recruit alongside a training and labor-supply unit.
Enterprises announced a recruitment demand of about 14,000 job positions, focusing on fields such as electronic components, automobile parts, garments, footwear, and supporting industries.
The fair attracted nearly 1,500 workers, students, and jobseekers who registered to participate in person. In addition, online counseling and matchmaking were implemented to help workers in distant areas access recruitment information more easily.
Earlier, at the first job fair held in late February 2026 at VSIP Nghe An, 20 enterprises participated with a demand for more than 70,000 positions, underscoring very high labor demand in the province’s industrial zones.
In recent years, the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone and its industrial zones have developed strongly, attracting many large foreign-invested projects, especially in electronics, high-tech, and supportive industries.
According to surveys, the total new recruitment demand of enterprises in the economic zone and industrial zones in 2026 is about 90,000 workers. This demand is not only about quantity but also requires high skill levels, discipline, and industrial work standards.
At the event, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Province, emphasized that the job fair is not only a supply–demand linkage activity but also demonstrates the province’s commitment to building a sustainable employment ecosystem, in collaboration with enterprises and workers.
To improve effectiveness, Nghe An plans to continue attracting labor into industrial zones while strengthening policies to support vocational training, helping workers establish stable livelihoods locally.
One important measure is accelerating the construction of social housing for workers in the WHA and Nam Cam industrial parks, to improve living conditions and retain workers in the long term.
Additionally, the province calls for regular labor-supply linkage activities and to promote recruitment on digital platforms, continuously updating information so that workers and enterprises can access it easily.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
