In April 2026, Vuong, Vingroup, and family members set up another company in the same sector. The new entity operates across ten business lines, including the production and distribution of feature films, television programs, photography, audio recording and music publishing, cinema exhibition, and advertising.
The chairwoman and legal representative is Ms. Phan Thu Huong, a figure within the Vingroup ecosystem, including leadership at the Tam Tâm Charity Fund.
Before the establishment of Vinstudio, Vingroup’s film business included CTCP Phát triển điện ảnh V-Film, created in late September 2025 in Hanoi. At that time, the legal representative and chairwoman was Dang Thanh Thuy, who was CEO of Vinpearl.
In December 2025, Dang Thanh Thuy submitted his resignation as CEO and legal representative of Vinpearl.
