Viettel Bac Ninh will participate in the construction and installation of battery-swapping cabinets for V-Green under a cooperation agreement, with deployment planned at post offices and other locations developed by Viettel in Bac Ninh province. The initiative is set to begin with up to 6,000 battery-swapping cabinets deployed simultaneously in Bac Ninh, supporting the expansion of green transport infrastructure in the northern economic hub.
Under the agreement, Viettel Bac Ninh will take part in building and installing the battery-swapping cabinets for V-Green at Viettel-developed sites and post offices across Bac Ninh. In addition to construction, Viettel Bac Ninh will provide high-speed Internet service packages for the V-Green battery-swapping system at Viettel points in the province.
The connectivity component is intended to keep the system online and operating stably, including online monitoring 24/7, to support a seamless battery swap experience.
After Bac Ninh, V-Green plans to continue studying the deployment of electric car charging stations and battery-swapping solutions for VinFast electric motorcycles in other provinces where Viettel has facilities.
V-Green has partnered with major retail and service partners to expand the charging and swapping network for VinFast electric vehicles, including MediaMart, FPT Shop, The Gioi Di Dong, Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), and Sun World Ba Na Hills.
In Q2/2026, V-Green expects to complete a nationwide network of 60,000 battery-swapping cabinets.
