PNJ was the only listed company honored at the Green Horizon Leadership Award during the CSA Top 50 Sustainability Leaders 2026 event held on June 11 in Ho Chi Minh City. The company also achieved a “hat-trick” across all three ESG pillars—E, S and G—in the CSA 2026 Top 50 Sustainability Leaders ranking. The CSA awards, published annually by Investment Bridge magazine, are described as Vietnam’s leading sustainable development awards and require companies to demonstrate tangible economic and social impact. In 2026, the CSA assessment system includes 14 categories, with judging panel participation from HSBC, PwC Vietnam, Schneider Electric and Mekong Capital.
Organizers said PNJ was recognized for being a pioneer in implementing an integrated, balanced and comprehensive approach across the three ESG pillars in its sustainable development strategy: E (reducing carbon footprint), S (outstanding CSR activities) and G (ESG leadership mindset).
PNJ was also noted as the only listed company named in the “Green Horizon Leadership Award 2026” category, which organizers said was voted by readers.
In 2026, PNJ marked five consecutive years being ranked sustainably in CSA. This is the company’s third hat-trick at CSA (in 2023, 2024 and 2026), highlighting 38 years of social contribution and efforts to enhance “people’s beauty and life” through its lifestyle jewelry business.
A PNJ representative said: “PNJ continuously elevates its sustainable development strategy, enhances competitiveness in the market, builds trust, and creates long-term value for the company. By steadfastly pursuing ESG standards within the corporate governance framework, the sustainability strategy helps the company balance economic interests, social responsibility, and environmental protection effectively.”
In 2025, PNJ issued a commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions under a Board-approved resolution, targeting a 15.8% reduction in emission intensity by 2030 and Net Zero across all activities by 2050. The company works with an independent advisory unit to conduct periodic greenhouse gas inventories in line with ISO 14064, the GHG Protocol and domestic regulations, covering more than 400 stores and two production plants in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh.
In environmental terms, PNJ received recognition in the category of Reducing carbon footprint. The company reported that total greenhouse gas emissions fell 3.9% compared with 2024. PNJ said it is optimizing energy efficiency in retail and manufacturing, achieving energy savings of more than 213,000 kWh.
The company also said it is investing in technology, automation and equipment upgrades to improve operating efficiency and reduce energy consumption and emissions in production. PNJ reported that it is promoting a shift to cleaner energy sources, including applying hydrogen separation technology from water in certain production steps, which it said contributed to a significant decrease in fossil fuel consumption by saving 57% of diesel use in production.
In logistics, PNJ said it completed the conversion of 100% of its taxi fleets to electric vehicles and is working with strategic partners to develop charging infrastructure across the system.
Beyond technical measures, PNJ said it is raising employee awareness and capabilities through training on greenhouse gas inventories and energy efficiency, alongside internal communications campaigns promoting a green lifestyle, energy saving and emission reduction.
Under its sustainable development philosophy of placing customers and social benefits within corporate benefits, PNJ said it focuses on people through diverse activities for workers and the community. The company also received CSR recognition, with tens of billions of VND allocated to CSR in 2025.
PNJ said it concentrates resources on four priority beneficiary groups: underprivileged adolescent girls, young families, women, and disaster-affected communities. Each group is aligned with a pillar of the CSR Living Beautifully strategy. Programs highlighted by the company include Lem Lem Dreams, Happy Family for Youth, and Mini Market 0 Dong.
PNJ said its governance framework is built on six pillars referencing international standards (ACGS, OECD and IFC), with an ESG Committee under the Board playing a strategic role. The Board has nine members, with 44% female representation and three independent members. PNJ said it provides ongoing training to strengthen governance oversight in line with international norms.
The company said it defines its governance transformation from “compliance monitoring” to “creating long-term value,” describing it as a shift that not many Vietnamese listed companies have explicitly set as a governance objective. PNJ also said it is committing to support customers, shareholders and the community while pursuing its goal of honoring human beauty and sustainable living, and is progressively transforming from a jewelry retailer into a leading Vietnamese lifestyle ecosystem.
PNJ reported that its Q1 2026 results included net revenue of VND 17,245 billion (up 79% year-on-year) and net profit after tax of VND 1,467 billion (up 116.5% year-on-year), described as the highest quarterly net profit in the company’s history.
For 2026, PNJ targets revenue of VND 48,660 billion and net profit after tax of VND 3,409 billion, up 37% and 21% respectively from 2025, which the company said would mark a new peak in its nearly four-decade history.
Separately, Brand Finance said PNJ’s brand value in 2025 reached USD 523 million, up nearly 9% from 2024, and ranked among Vietnam’s Top 10 strongest brands.
