The meeting took place at Samsung’s Hwaseong semiconductor manufacturing site, where both sides explored opportunities for cooperation across the AI memory chip supply chain and related technologies.
Mistral AI co-founder and chief executive Arthur Mensch met with Jeon Young-hyun, head of Samsung Electronics’ Device Solutions division. Mensch was in Korea during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Seoul, where he met with President Lee Jae Myung.
