The investment policy approval dossier for Ho Chi Minh City’s new Administrative Center project was proposed by Sun Group (Sun Group Investment and Development Co., Ltd.). Mr. Nguyen Kien Giang, Deputy Head of the Maintenance and Exploitation of Transport Infrastructure Division at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, said this at a press conference on April 16.
Mr. Giang said the proposed project scope includes investment in technical infrastructure, ancillary facilities and a parking basement in the central administrative area, the theatre, and a landscaped park. It also covers construction of the Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center, a theatre, the central-square project and the parking system.
The Finance Department was assigned by the City People’s Committee to lead the preparation and implementation of the project plan.
Earlier, according to the list of projects planned to break ground by April 30 published by the City Department of Construction, the central square project and the Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center were among those scheduled for development.
The project is estimated to require about VND 30,800 billion in total investment.
