The Tax Department under the Ministry of Finance has published, via its electronic information portal, a list of directors of enterprises subject to a temporary exit suspension measure. The notice does not specify the amount of tax debt for individuals or organizations.
The list of taxpayers notified of exit suspension includes the following groups:
Decree 49/2025/NĐ-CP sets out the exit suspension framework, including criteria based on the debt amount and the number of days the debt is overdue. The decree also provides that if a taxpayer has fulfilled all tax obligations, the tax authority will issue an immediate cancellation notice, and the immigration authority will cancel the suspension within 24 hours of receiving the notice.
