President Donald Trump is set to host another in-person event for his meme coin holders later this month at Mar-a-Lago, with the price to attend significantly lower than last year. The team behind President Trump’s Solana-based token, which trades as TRUMP, finalized the attendee list on Tuesday, using a leaderboard tied to token holdings and other factors.
For the previous event, a select group of attendees reached “VIP” status by accumulating millions of dollars’ worth of TRUMP tokens. For the latest event—a luncheon and conference for top holders—earning VIP status cost roughly 90% less, falling from about $3 million to around $300,000.
VIP status is the top level of access for the event and includes a private “meet and learn” experience with “superstar” attendees, including Tether’s Paolo Ardoino, retired boxer Mike Tyson, and Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood. The luncheon with President Trump is part of the VIP package.
The additional VIP reward was granted to the top 29 registered TRUMP holders who earned points based on time-weighted holdings of the token from March 12 to April 14.
According to available on-chain holder data compared with the Trump meme team’s final leaderboard, at least one account that earned VIP status and ranked 12th overall (a Solana address beginning with “Ciz7y”) never held more than 114,212 TRUMP tokens during the snapshot period. That peak holding is now worth about $318,000 and previously peaked at roughly $473,000 when the token traded at $4.14 on March 15.
Other VIPs showed similarly smaller balances. For example, the Solana address “2ciorM” transferred in around 102,000 TRUMP tokens on March 12 and made no other moves. Those tokens are now valued at about $283,000, and were enough to rank 17th—well above the VIP cutoff.
The token amounts tied to VIP status for this year’s event are substantially lower than those seen for last year’s exclusive TRUMP meme coin gathering. In that earlier event, the top finalists each held millions of dollars’ worth of TRUMP tokens to earn VIP access.
The final VIP holder for last May’s event, ranked 25th, had nearly $3 million worth of TRUMP tokens around the time of the snapshot. At that time, gaining VIP access to the first TRUMP meme coin gala required around $4.78 million worth of the president’s official meme coin on average.
The top holder last year—an account labeled “Sun,” which Tron founder Justin Sun confirmed was his—held around $19 million in TRUMP at the time of the snapshot.
Honored to support POTUS and grateful for the invitation from GetTrumpMemes to attend President Trump’s Gala Dinner as his TOP fan, Justin Sun said: “As the top holder of $TRUMP, I’m excited to connect with everyone, talk crypto, and discuss the future of our industry.” — H.E. Justin Sun

Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
