Universal Music Group N.V. (Euronext: UMG) said it repurchased 400,000 of its own shares between April 6, 2026 and April 10, 2026 at an average price of €19.39 per share, for total consideration of €7,757,470.
The repurchases were made as part of UMG’s €500 million share buyback program announced on March 30, 2026.
Up to and including April 10, 2026, UMG reported that a total of 631,142 shares had been repurchased under the program for total consideration of €11,649,992.
UMG noted that it publishes a weekly overview of the aggregated progress of the share buyback program on its website: https://investors.universalmusic.com/share-information/share-buyback/.
The company stated that the press release is issued in connection with disclosure and reporting obligations under Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation) and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, as amended.
