A number of piracy-enabled content platforms have abruptly shut down as the Government begins enforcement of trademark and copyright violations. The directive takes effect on 05/05/2026, with inspections scheduled from 07/05 to 30/05/2026. Authorities require that the number of violations processed during the inspection period be at least 20% higher than the same period in 2025.
During the first week of implementation, market management forces and related units seized about 15,000 products showing signs of trademark and copyright infringement. The enforcement campaign is also accompanied by traffic control measures and new regulations, which have increased pressure on websites providing non-licensed content.
In film and entertainment, the C* TV app and several sites have ceased operations, including Phim4k.xy*, Th _a Phim, Mon Fan_ ub, Ne* Fansub and Anim* Fansub. For software and games, portals such as Daominhh*.net, Khiphac*.com and Topgamep*.net have disabled download links.
The Copyright Office issued Directive 314/BQTG-QL&HTQT on 06/05/2026. The directive requires enterprises to conduct self-checks and stop using unlicensed software in business activities, as well as to cease illicit use of audio and video recordings and broadcasting programs.
