V-Green is expanding its network of EV charging stations and VinFast battery-swapping cabinets nationwide by leveraging existing store and service footprints through partnerships with retailers, fuel networks, a digital bank and tourism operators.
V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC said it has signed partnerships with MediaMart Vietnam and Petrol Vietnam Joint Stock Company (PVOIL) to expand VinFast battery-swapping cabinets across the country.
Under an agreement announced on April 23, V-Green and MediaMart will deploy about 1,000 battery-swapping cabinets at 330 consumer electronics stores nationwide, with installation targeted for completion by the end of May 2026. At each store location, V-Green plans to install 3–5 cabinets.
On May 7, V-Green and PVOIL announced strategic cooperation to deploy more than 3,000 battery-swapping cabinets for VinFast electric motorcycles at nearly 1,000 PVOIL gas stations nationwide.
Under the plan, in May 2026 the two sides will survey and install the battery-swapping cabinets together with EV charging stations across PVOIL’s store network. By the end of June 2026, almost 3,000 cabinets are expected to be deployed.
V-Green noted that it previously worked with PVOIL to operate nearly 400 EV charging stations combined with VinFast battery-swapping cabinets at PVOIL’s gas stations.
V-Green said it is also expanding non-fuel services at PVOIL’s store network, aiming to become a diversified energy provider.
Beyond PVOIL and MediaMart, V-Green has broadened partnerships with businesses in tourism and finance to deploy additional charging infrastructure and VinFast battery-swapping cabinets.
In April, V-Green signed an agreement with Ba Na Cable Car Services Joint Stock Company (Sun Group) to deploy charging stations and battery-swapping cabinets at Sun World Ba Na Hills in Da Nang. In the initial phase, the companies installed 20 EV charging posts alongside battery-swapping cabinets that operate 24/7 for VinFast customers. The firms said they will continue to study expanding the model to other Sun Group properties.
With digital bank Vikki Bank, the agreement provides for the bank to share space at its branches so V-Green can invest in and operate charging stations and battery-swapping cabinets for VinFast motorcycles. In return, Vikki Bank provides financial solutions to support investment and operation of V-Green’s infrastructure.
According to V-Green, the company currently operates 150,000 EV charging ports across 34 provinces and cities. Alongside its EV charging network, it is pushing to deploy battery-swapping cabinets through partnerships with operators including FPT Shop, The Gioi Di Dong, MediaMart and PVOIL.
V-Green targets completing 60,000 VinFast battery-swapping cabinets for VinFast electric motorcycles in Q2 2026.
The ongoing cooperation with retailers, fuel networks, banks and tourism hubs indicates V-Green is prioritizing rapid expansion by leveraging partner locations rather than building new deployment points from scratch.
By working with retailers and distributors that already have broad footprints, V-Green can shorten the time required to expand battery-swap infrastructure nationwide, using high-footfall, convenient sites with wide reach.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
