On May 7, 2026, V-Green, a global battery-swap station development company, and Vietnam Oil Joint Stock Company – CTCP (PVOIL) announced a strategic cooperation to deploy more than 3,000 battery-swap cabinets for electric motorcycles across PVOIL’s nationwide network of gas stations.
Under the agreement, in May 2026 the two parties will conduct surveys and install battery-swap cabinets for electric motorcycles and charging stations for electric cars at nearly 1,000 PVOIL gas stations nationwide.
By the end of June, nearly 3,000 battery-swap cabinets are expected to be completed at PVOIL facilities, aimed at ensuring safety and maximum convenience for VinFast electric-motorbike users.
The companies previously collaborated to deploy and operate nearly 400 VinFast electric-car charging stations combined with battery-swap cabinets at PVOIL gas stations. The announcement cited positive business results and an enhanced user experience for VinFast EV users.
In the near future, the parties expect to extend coverage across PVOIL’s entire network.
V-Green currently operates 150,000 EV charging ports across 34 provinces and cities.
With the rapid growth of VinFast electric motorbikes, V-Green said it is accelerating the deployment of battery-swap cabinets through partnerships with major retailers including FPT Shop, The Gioi Di Dong, and MediaMart.
The company’s target is to complete 60,000 battery-swap cabinets in Q2 2026.
