Decree 70/2025/ND-CP officially abolishes the household-business tax regime from January 1, 2026, creating urgent requirements for the management of households and small businesses. The change requires a shift from manual bookkeeping to revenue transparency and operations based on real data. For many businesses that have relied on simple ledgers and do not yet have a full data storage system, the need for a solution that is easy to deploy and compliant with legal regulations has become acute.
The “Payment and Tax Submission Digitization” package developed by Vietbank and VNPAY is designed to integrate the operational process of household businesses on one platform, covering payments, sales management, document storage, and tax declaration and submission.
According to the package description, it also supports household business owners in moving from intuition-based management to data-driven operations, transitioning from manual to automated processes, and laying a foundation for professionalization, scaling, and expanding market share.
One major barrier to digital transformation for many households is the cost of implementing new systems. To address this, Vietbank and VNPAY said they will offer free deployment of the “Payment and Tax Submission Digitization” package until the end of 2028 for customers that meet applicable conditions.
The initiative is expected to encourage household businesses to adopt technology more confidently, gradually shifting toward more professional, transparent, and efficient governance.
The package, combined with Voice OTT features, is described as helping households reduce manual data entry and manage cash flow more effectively, supporting a gradual professionalization of operating processes.
Commenting on the package, Mr. Vo Duy Anh Dung, Director of Vietbank’s Retail Banking, said: “Household businesses and small and medium enterprises are a large, dynamic force that contributes to growth, employment, and sustainable development of the economy. When this customer segment gains convenient access to financial management tools, payment and tax solutions, their business operations become more efficient, contributing to overall sustainable development of the economy. We believe that the combination of experience in serving customers, financial capacity, and Vietbank’s network with VNPAY will deliver substantive value to customers.”
The “Payment and Tax Submission Digitization” package is presented as reflecting Vietbank and VNPAY’s commitment to practical financial solutions, reinforcing the bank’s role as a partner supporting firms in digitizing progressively and improving professionalism toward sustainable growth.
