FWD Vietnam and Vietcombank’s unit-linked fund management company (VCBF) announced that policyholders participating in insurance can invest in the Vươn Mình Fund managed by VCBF. The announcement was made at the launch event for the unit-linked insurance product “FWD Đầu tư đón đầu,” held on April 10 at GEM Center.
At the event, FWD and VCBF introduced the Vươn Mình Fund, designed to align with the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s economy. Ms. Duong Kim Anh, Head of the Investment Division at VCBF, shared the fund’s direction and philosophy, emphasizing diversification and long-term asset growth for customers participating in “FWD Đầu tư đón đầu.”
“FWD Đầu tư đón đầu” is described as a solution that combines protection and investment to provide financial security for families across different life risk scenarios, while also creating opportunities for investment, accumulation, and asset growth.
The product is built on market research and an understanding of customer behavior, aiming to offer practical, flexible values aligned with the global development of life insurance. It is positioned as helping customers feel secure during life’s fluctuations, while also providing access to professional investment solutions so customers can take a more active role in planning their financial future.
In addition to the Vươn Mình Fund, customers can select investment plans based on their personal risk appetite through seven other unit-linked funds managed by experienced investment professionals from VCBF and SSIAM (the Fund Management Company). The structure is intended to support portfolio diversification, balance risk against expected returns, and ensure that cash flows are managed by established investment professionals.
The initiative also highlights the development of the “Needs Analysis Box,” intended to help customers visualize their financial goals more clearly. The goals referenced include securing future education and retirement planning, wealth transfer, and family protection.
Mr. Phuong Tien Minh, CEO of FWD Vietnam, stated that 2026 marks a milestone—10 years of FWD operating in Vietnam. He said the launch of “FWD Đầu tư đón đầu” reinforces the company’s commitment to meeting real market needs, with financial protection remaining the core value of life insurance, now complemented by access to professionally managed investment portfolios to support long-term financial planning.
