On May 10, the Cao Bang Police announced the results of detecting traffic violations through the surveillance camera system. The list includes 57 cases involving car and motorcycle drivers violating traffic laws, recorded from April 23 to May 6.
Following the announcement, authorities asked violators to report to the Traffic Police Department of Cao Bang Province at Son Hien 05, Thuc Phan ward to resolve the matter in accordance with regulations. If they fail to appear, the province will coordinate with local authorities where the vehicle owners reside, study, or work, or with their registered office, to take action.
Within 20 days, information about the violations will be posted on the Traffic Police Department’s electronic information page, updating the warning status to the Vehicle Registration Agency (for vehicles requiring inspection) to address.
Under Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, effective January 1, 2025, penalties apply as follows:
