On 8 April 2026, in Hanoi, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) held the FX Awards 2026, bringing together major banks and financial institutions. Eximbank was recognized with two awards for 2025: Best Market Maker and Top 5 Volume Traded.
Best Market Maker is the top category, reflecting a bank’s liquidity provisioning capability and market participation as a market maker. The awards were assessed using real FX trading data from more than 40 credit institutions and foreign bank branches in Vietnam on the LSEG system, under the supervision of the State Bank of Vietnam, to support objectivity and transparency.
Mr. Tran Tan Loc, acting General Director, along with Eximbank leadership, attended the ceremony at the bank’s headquarters on 9 April 2026. During the event, LSEG leaders also conducted meetings and carried out the award ceremony at Eximbank’s headquarters, discussing future cooperation directions to raise standards and strengthen connections with international financial markets.
Eximbank said the LSEG awards are significant because they are based on real market data. It noted that recognition in major categories reflects operating capability, risk governance, and liquidity provision, and provides a platform to continue developing comprehensive FX solutions and improving customer service.
The bank attributed its performance to a consistent development orientation in currency business, including improving operating capability and risk governance, maintaining stable liquidity supply to the market, and developing FX solutions to meet customers’ increasingly diverse needs.
Eximbank (Vietnam’s Export-Import Commercial Bank) was established in 1989 and provides financial products and services for individuals and businesses, including mobilization of funds, credit, trade finance, international payments, FX trading, card services, and modern banking solutions.
