Hoang Dieu Industrial Park, developed by Hoang Dieu IP Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Hoa Phat Group, is set to officially break ground on May 14 in Gia Phuc commune, Hai Phong City.
The 245-hectare project has a total investment of about 3.4 trillion VND. It is designed to build and operate industrial infrastructure, including land leasing, factories, warehouses, and offices, with priority given to high-tech manufacturing projects.
The park’s strategic location is intended to provide multi-directional connectivity. It is adjacent to the Hanoi–Hai Phong Expressway and near key national highways such as 5A, 37, and 38. From the site, goods can be moved easily to Hanoi, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son, while also enabling quick connections to Hai Phong port, Cat Bi Airport, and Noi Bai International Airport.
During a site inspection, Deputy Chairman Vu Tien Phung reviewed preparations for the May 14 groundbreaking ceremony. The review covered traffic management and vehicle flow, arrangements for delegates, and readiness of technical systems, communications, electricity, and other conditions to support construction and the event.
Representatives of the Hoang Dieu IP developer said they have coordinated closely with departments, agencies, and local authorities to implement assigned tasks. They also prepared contingency plans to proactively respond to weather, technical issues, and safety requirements during the ceremony.
After inspecting the two projects, Deputy Chairman Phung commended the proactive and responsible preparation by relevant departments, agencies, and localities. He asked units to continue reviewing the full ceremony program, finalize arrangements, and ensure facilities, technical conditions, and reception plans are thorough, professional, and well coordinated.
He also emphasized absolute security, traffic safety, environmental hygiene, fire prevention and firefighting, and medical readiness. He urged closer cooperation among law enforcement agencies to handle any arising situations promptly and to avoid disruption during major city events.
Hai Phong’s port system is highlighted as a key advantage, including Lach Huyen International Port, described as the first and largest deep-water port in the north. With nearly 60 ports, 70 inland ports, and a modern logistics-industrial park network, Hai Phong is forming a logistics chain intended to strengthen its role as a key link in global value chains.
Four months after the Hoang Dieu Industrial Park groundbreaking, Hoa Phat Group is expected to commence two additional projects totaling about 20.49 trillion dong in Vietnam’s third-largest province.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
