Market sentiment improved as the VN-Index reversed earlier gains after morning volatility. At the close on April 13, the index rose nearly 9 points to 1,758. Turnover stayed elevated, with trading value on the HoSE exceeding VND 22.5 trillion.
Foreign investors were a drag on the session, net-selling about VND 123 billion.
On HoSE, foreigners net-sold VND 97 billion. On the buy side, VNM was the most purchased stock by foreign investors, with buying value of over VND 79 billion. VIC and HPG followed, with foreign purchases of VND 64 billion and VND 38 billion, respectively.
On the sell side, FPT remained the largest target of foreign selling at VND 92 billion. VCB and VPB were next, sold at VND 71 billion and VND 62 billion, respectively.
On HNX, foreigners net-sold VND 25 billion. C69 was the most bought stock by foreign investors at VND 6 billion, while NFC followed with VND 0.6 billion. Foreign investors also accumulated several billion in AAV, NRC, and CEO.
On the UPCoM market, foreigners net-sold VND 1 billion. F88 attracted the most foreign buying at VND 2 billion. AMS and ABI were also bought back by foreign investors for a few hundred million each.
In contrast, QNS was sold by foreign investors for VND 1 billion. Foreign investors also sold MSR, VEA, and other stocks.
