Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department has published the 2026 tax filing and payment deadlines and key timeframes for taxpayers under current regulations.
Under Article 44 of the Tax Administration Law No. 38/2019/QH14, deadlines are set for each filing period:
If the deadline falls on weekends or holidays, it is moved to the next working day in accordance with the Civil Code.

The deadline for filing the 2025 personal income tax return for individuals who file themselves is also May 4, 2026, extended from the usual date due to the holiday period and weekends.
The tax authority encourages taxpayers to submit electronically ahead of the deadline to avoid system overload on the final days. Late payment will incur late-payment interest at 0.03% per day on the unpaid tax amount.
