FPT's annual general meeting (AGM) this year has attracted significant investor attention amid growth challenges. On April 16, 2026, FPT will hold its 2026 annual shareholders' meeting. At the AGM, FPT will present to shareholders its business plan for 2026, targeting revenue of VND 58,580 billion, up 15.8% from 2025. Pretax profit is expected to reach VND 11,629 billion, up 15% year-on-year (according to the new consolidation method for FPT Telecom). In addition to the business plan, FPT will seek shareholder approval for issuing new shares to raise equity by 10:1 from retained earnings. In 2026, FPT plans to pay cash dividends at up to 20%, meaning a shareholder owning 1 share will receive 2,000 dong. In addition, FPT will present to shareholders a plan to issue shares under an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) for employees with contributions in 2026-2028, with the issue size not exceeding 0.5% of outstanding shares at the time of issue. Below are several issues of interest to shareholders at FPT's 2026 AGM: 1. FPT aims to grow net income by 15% in 2026. This figure is lower than the gains achieved in previous years. Why is FPT cautious with this year's plan? Is this a point-in-time figure or a new normal for FPT? 2. What does management identify as the biggest risks for FPT in the near term (geopolitics, economic slowdown, technology competition...) and what measures will be taken? 3. FPT defines AI-First as a prerequisite to break out in 2026-2028. The group aims to master the AI value chain. What are the plan for expanding AI services and digital transformation in the next 3–5 years? 4. How is the operation of AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan, and what is the expansion plan for this area? 5. In recent years FPT has completed many M&A deals in the US, Japan and Europe. Does FPT plan further M&A to expand markets in 2026–2030 and which regions would be prioritized? 6. FPT is heavily investing in data centers and cloud infrastructure in Vietnam. How does management assess opportunities and challenges in this segment? 7. Besides training talent for the group, what is FPT's education strategy for the coming period and how much revenue is expected to come from it? 8. FPT identifies UAV as one of five strategic technologies, focusing on developing a low-cost economy in Vietnam with a potential of USD 10 billion by 2035. What is the specific implementation plan? 9. How does management assess the potential of the chip design segment and how is FPT progressing in this field? 10. In the context of slowing profit growth and with capital needs to invest in AI, data centers, and international expansion, does FPT plan to change its cash dividend policy in the coming years?
