VanEck Vectors Vietnam ETF (VNM ETF) moved from a prolonged selling period to net buying after six consecutive weeks of net selling (April 10–17). In the week of April 17–24, the fund shifted to net buying across all stocks in its portfolio, ending a net-selling streak that had lasted more than a month.
Top net buyers by volume included VIX with 424,800 shares and HPG with 390,400 shares. SSI was purchased for more than 319,000 shares, while SHB and VND each saw purchases above 200,000 shares.
As of April 24, the fund’s total assets were more than $560 million, up from about $550 million on April 17. The assets were allocated across 55 stocks, one fund certificate, one SHB stock call option (2644923D), and one convertible bond call option (2644624D) on SBT.
Leading holdings by weight included VHM (10.74%), VIC (10.6%), MSN (6.1%), HPG (5.46%), and MCH (5.29%).
