The private assets market in Vietnam is expanding rapidly. McKinsey estimates that private financial assets could reach about $600 billion by 2027, growing at around 11% per year. The digital economy is reported at $39 billion, while 81% of users interact with AI daily. The figures point to a broader shift in how Vietnamese consumers accumulate wealth, make financial decisions, and plan for the future.
As the affluent segment grows, expectations are rising. Premium customers must address multiple financial questions at once, including cash flow management, investment and accumulation, and asset protection—turning each decision into a strategic move rather than a one-off choice.
VIB Privilege Banking was created to set a new standard for priority banking. Beyond expanding privileges, VIB positions the program as a financial solutions ecosystem designed to help clients manage cash flow flexibly, stay prepared for volatility, and take control of their financial trajectory.
In shaping the program, VIB selected “Aurora” as its symbol. VIB describes Aurora as always moving—dynamic and flexible—mirroring a model intended to accompany clients through different life stages rather than relying on rigid structures. VIB also says each “band” of the aurora is unique and non-repeating, reflecting the idea that solutions should be personalized to different client goals and financial journeys.
VIB Privilege Banking links its premium payment experience to modern lifestyle spending categories. The VIB Priority Signature and VIB Premier Signature cards are designed around core spending areas including travel, dining, and shopping.
VIB states that cardholders can earn up to 5% cashback, receive free lounge access combined with priority service at domestic and international airports, and benefit from a competitive foreign exchange fee of 1%. VIB says these benefits are particularly relevant for customers who travel internationally frequently.
VIB is also developing a new generation of credit cards for premium customers under the motto “one for all, one for a lifetime,” aiming to provide a single financial tool designed to meet long-term spending needs.
For premium clients, VIB highlights real estate as an important part of the asset-management equation. However, VIB says the decisive factor is not only the asset selected, but also the funding structure used to sustain cash flow.
Under VIB Privilege Banking, VIB says funding solutions are designed to maximize flexibility in how customers own and invest assets, including through lending structures that allow clients to adjust their financial setup across stages and opportunities.
VIB states that loan facilities allow customers to choose principal repayment timing to fit their grace period, creating room for concurrent investment plans. The financing limit is up to VND 500 billion from VIB, which VIB says can help premium customers deploy investments when opportunities arise, adjust cash flows at different times, and recalibrate financial plans while maintaining overall cash-flow balance.
VIB says its approach combines technology with human support from Priority Relationship Directors. On the MyVIB digital platform, VIB has created a dedicated “Ownrora” space for premium clients with personalized features for managing financial moments.
Through Ownrora, VIB states clients can receive asset-allocation suggestions based on two core factors: cash-flow needs across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons; and alignment with individual investment styles, ranging from cautious to balanced to growth. VIB says this is intended to move beyond generic templates and reflect each person’s goals and risk tolerance.
For day-to-day spending, the system also supports recommendations for credit cards based on customers’ top spending categories and provides an intuitive dashboard to monitor cash flow and support clearer decision-making. VIB says clients can also choose personal touches such as a preferred account number or gifts tailored to their needs.
VIB describes the Aurora experience in Vietnam as a milestone for priority banking. The event is designed as an interactive light-art space where bands of light move unpredictably, not repeating, reflecting VIB Privilege Banking clients. VIB says attendees can see the experience as a reflection of themselves—people who keep pace with change and are ready to seize opportunities.
VIB also says the first VIB Privilege Banking clients receive a limited-edition gift set crafted in the Aurora spirit. The set includes a silk scarf handmade by artist Dang To Anh, with each piece featuring a unique pattern and Swarovski crystal accessories from Austria. VIB states that Premier-tier clients among the first to join at the highest level will receive a limited-edition metal Signature card plated in gold.
VIB says the “Touch the Aurora” program will continue after the event. Clients can accumulate Aurora Tickets through proactive financial actions such as maintaining deposit balances, card spending, using insurance, or referring new clients. Each Aurora Ticket provides a chance to own one of nine travel vouchers for two people, valued at 400 million VND per pair.
VIB frames VIB Privilege Banking as a long-term sequence of experiences designed to understand each client and accompany them over time. Inspired by Aurora—described as a symbol of movement, uniqueness, and rarity—VIB says the program is built on three values: Dynamic, Unique, and Exclusive. VIB positions the ecosystem around flexible cash flow, individualized solutions, and privileges aligned with client status, supported by a next-generation platform and Priority Relationship Directors.

Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
