Vietjet Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) held its 2026 Annual General Meeting of shareholders successfully, marking what the airline described as a new development phase with a global outlook, sustainable growth and long-term value for shareholders.
In 2025, Vietjet operated 135 aircraft, including 101 in Vietnam, across 254 routes. The airline transported 28.2 million passengers and completed over 153,000 flights.
Financially, Vietjet reported consolidated revenue of VND 82,093 billion and net profit after tax of VND 2,123 billion, up 51.2% year-on-year and reaching 120% of its plan. The airline also reported direct and indirect budget contributions of VND 10,537 billion.
On fleet development, Vietjet placed orders for 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft (with 50 add-on options) and 20 Airbus A330neo wide-body aircraft. The company said Vietjet ranks among the world’s airlines with the largest aircraft orders, reflecting operational efficiency, safety and resilience amid global aviation volatility.
