TV360 platform (developed by Viettel Telecom) and Bình Hạnh Đan Co., Ltd. (BHD) have unveiled a teaser and character designs for the feature film “Hộ linh tráng sĩ – Bí ẩn mộ vua Đinh.” The action-fantasy martial arts project is set in the Đinh dynasty and follows seven knights tasked with protecting a tomb from an attempted intrusion. The story blends historical elements with fiction rather than presenting history in a purely documentary manner.
The film is directed by Nguyễn Phan Quang Bình, with martial arts choreography by Johnny Trí Nguyễn. The cast includes Tuấn Trần, Đỗ Thị Hải Yến, Tự Long, Như Quỳnh, Hứa Vĩ Văn, Quách Ngọc Ngoan, and others. After five days since its release, the teaser has attracted more than 900,000 views on YouTube.
“Hộ linh tráng sĩ – Bí ẩn mộ vua Đinh” is described as a “historical fantasy” produced and co-produced by TV360 and BHD. The project is planned for a theatrical release in cinemas around Vietnam’s National Day on September 2 this year.
The project also marks Viettel’s first investment and theatrical film release in Vietnam. The move signals a shift from producing “cinema-quality online” content to developing blockbuster theatrical projects. Previously, Viettel announced a strategy to invest in high-quality content with a budget in the tens of millions of USD.
Viettel Media introduced “Điên tối” (2022) as the debut feature in the “360 Film Initiative,” with distribution mainly on digital platforms (OTT) such as YouTube, TV360, and FPT Play. Viettel Media also produced “Hoa hồng giấy” (2022), a television series made to cinema standards, and it is among the few Vietnamese titles Netflix acquired rights to broadcast across Southeast Asia.
As a distributor, Viettel Media released the Korean film “Firefighters” in cinemas nationwide in early 2025.
With Viettel’s involvement, Vietnam’s cinema market is described as highly dynamic, with participation from traditional industry players and many independent producers.
In 2025, total box office revenue for Vietnam’s film market surpassed 6,000 billion VND. Vietnamese films accounted for about 55 titles in theaters, capturing more than 60% of market share—well above the 43% recorded in 2024.
For 2026, around 80 Vietnamese films are expected to debut, the highest number on record. Industry revenue is projected at 7,000–7,500 billion VND for 2026, with expectations that Vietnamese films will maintain a market share above 60%.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
