VinFast reported April results on May 13, delivering 24,774 electric vehicles to customers. The figure brings total sales in the first four months to 78,458 vehicles, as the domestic auto market shows signs of slowdown.
VinFast’s top-selling model in April was the 7-seat MPV Limo Green, with 6,480 units sold. The company attributed the model’s appeal to its spacious interior and low operating costs, serving both individual buyers and families as well as transport services.
Next was the VF 3 mini SUV, with 5,273 units delivered in April. Other April sales included VF 5 with 4,732 units (including the Herio Green version) and VF 6 with 2,704 units.
For the first four months, Limo Green led overall sales with 18,951 units. VF 3 followed with 15,461 units, VF 5 recorded 13,404 units, and VF 6 totaled 9,383 units.
In the multi-purpose vehicle segment, the VF MPV 7 sold 2,526 units in April, bringing year-to-date sales to 6,212 and placing it among top-sellers.
In the compact C-segment, the VF 7 SUV delivered 1,148 units in April. Over four months, the model sold 4,662 units.
VinFast said it is using multiple incentives to support electric-vehicle demand, including 6%–10% price support depending on the model, fixed-rate financing for the first three years, and zero-down-payment programs. The company also offers an additional 3% value-back for customers converting from gasoline to electric.
VinFast electric-vehicle owners also continue to receive free charging at V-Green charging stations through February 10, 2029.
