During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recorded high visitor numbers, with many attractions operating at full capacity and notable figures recorded.
On the evening of May 3, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quảng Trị) said that over the four-day holiday (April 30 to May 3), this World Heritage natural site attracted a large number of visitors, with many routes and sites crowded, especially during peak hours.
According to statistics, total visitors reached over 41,400, with domestic visitors accounting for over 38,600 and international visitors over 2,800. Total revenue was estimated at over 12 billion dong.
By venue, the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center welcomed and served more than 26,700 visitors; the Động Thiên Đường Ecotourism Park welcomed over 11,200; and the Ozo Treetop Park attracted over 2,100.
Visitor numbers surged, peaking on April 30, May 1, and May 2, with nearly 40,000 visits. The Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center served more than 25,400 visitors across the units’ routes and sites, while the Động Thiên Đường Ecotourism Park welcomed over 10,000 visitors.
Many destinations continued to attract crowds, including Phong Nha Cave - Tiên Sơn Cave, Moọc Waterfall, Sông Chày - Hang Tối, Thiên Đường Cave, Hava Eco Park - Ngọc Bích Valley, and Chỉ huy Cave. The Management Board noted steady visitor numbers and that many time slots were fully booked.
To meet rising demand, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board mobilized maximum staff and vehicles and implemented coordinated reception plans.
The Management Board said these measures contributed to a safe and civil holiday.
