VTC Telecom Joint Stock Company (HNX: VTC) said that at its 2026 annual general meeting of shareholders held on April 23, it reported 2025 consolidated performance including revenue of nearly 523 billion dong, which was 5% above plan and up 221% year-on-year. The company attributed growth to expanding business operations, particularly device commerce, deployment of telecommunications technical services, and delivery of information technology solutions to customers both inside and outside the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ecosystem.
Despite the strong revenue growth, net profit in 2025 reached nearly 4 billion dong, unchanged versus the previous year. VTC Telecom said profit growth was slower because the revenue mix still relied heavily on device commerce with low margins. The company also cited pressure on earnings from increases in exchange rates and interest rates, along with rising management costs during expansion.
For 2026, VTC Telecom set a consolidated revenue target of more than 575 billion dong, up 10% from 2025. Net profit is expected to reach 4.5 billion dong, up about 13%. The company also plans to pay dividends at 5%.
To achieve these targets, VTC Telecom said it will focus on key products and services including Cloud, Kaspersky security, the vnEdu digital education platform, in-flight Internet (IFC), Wifi Marketing, electronic authentication, and other information security solutions.
The company also plans to maintain stable revenue from the traditional telecommunications-IT segment, aligning with VNPT’s investment infrastructure direction for 2025–2030, with emphasis on 5G, mobile data, and fixed broadband.
Regarding in-flight Internet service, VTC Telecom said that since August 5, 2025, Vietnam Airlines has officially commercialized IFC on international flights. The service is offered through three packages: 5 USD for unlimited messaging, 10 USD for one hour of Internet access, and 20 USD for unlimited access throughout the flight.
VTC Telecom said the technology infrastructure for IFC is operated by VTC Telecom in cooperation with VNPT, using satellite connectivity from Viasat.
