The stock market finished the week continuing to test momentum around the resistance level near 1,750. In the afternoon session, many stocks narrowed their gains. At the close, the VN-Index stood at 1,750, up 13.32 points, or 0.77%. For the week, the VN-Index rose 65.96 points (+3.92%) versus the previous week. Brokerage houses bought net 423 billion dong on HOSE. Specifically, the proprietary trading desks of brokerages recorded the largest net selling at STB by 52 billion dong, followed by VPB (-30 billion), ACB (-25 billion), VNM (-10 billion), and VIB (-7 billion dong). Some other stocks also posted net selling such as REE (-5 billion), VIX (-4 billion), PNJ (-3 billion) and VRE, VHM at around -2 billion dong. On the flip side, MWG was the stock with the largest net buying at 82 billion dong. Followed by HPG (77 billion), MBB (72 billion), CTG (36 billion), TCB (34 billion), KDH (29 billion), HDB (24 billion), FRT (23 billion), KBC (19 billion) and NLG (13 billion) dong.
