Bkav Pro, the virus protection software company chaired by Nguyen Tu Quang, has released its 2025 annual results on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
In 2025, BKAV Pro reported net profit after tax of VND 4.44 billion, down nearly 90% year-on-year. The decline has continued for several years.
From 2022–2023, profit fell sharply from VND 99 billion to VND 39 billion. In 2024, profit was cut further before dropping to a very low level in 2025.
As of the end of 2025, BKAV Pro’s equity stood at nearly VND 266 billion, while total liabilities were VND 365 billion.
Domestic bond borrowings and other payables accounted for about 94% of total debt, indicating significant financial pressure.
In the document submitted to HNX, the auditing firm is AASC (Audit Firm Limited), which issued multiple remarks related to BKAV Pro’s financial items.
As of 31-12-2025, BKAV Pro recognized short-term lending receivables overdue for payment under the original contract with BKAV JSC. The outstanding loan principal was VND 315 billion and interest was VND 100 billion, totaling VND 415 billion.
The auditors warned that BKAV Pro had not provisioned for doubtful debts, creating a risk related to debt recovery.
BKAV Pro also recognized overdue short-term receivables from Vietnam Digital Transformation Platform Co., Ltd. amounting to VND 18.15 billion, but had not made a provision, which the auditors said could lead to potential non-collection risk.
In addition, BKAV Pro recognized an issued bond with overdue principal and interest. The principal outstanding was VND 162 billion and interest payable was VND 17.86 billion. The auditors noted this as a business risk.
Previously in 2025, BKAV Pro was repeatedly reported by VNDirect Securities Joint Stock Company for violations of obligations to bondholders.
BKAV Pro is the company responsible for the software publishing segment of the Bkav Group. The group was established in 2003 and operates across cybersecurity, software, electronic government, smartphone manufacturing, smart devices, smart city solutions, and AI cameras.
The Bkav Group launched the Bphone smartphone line in mid-2015. Nguyen Tu Quang set high expectations for the product, stating he would build a Vietnamese-led smartphone industry competing with global brands. At the time, Bphone was priced at VND 9.9 million, but the product has not gained traction and has nearly disappeared from the market.
