BUV Career Fair 2026 has moved beyond traditional career guidance, becoming a direct recruitment touchpoint. The event drew more than 1,800 students and enabled networking with over 50 leading companies across multiple sectors, including Nestlé, B.Braun, KPMG, Savills, Marriott International Group, Panasonic, GSM, and Grant Thornton.
The rapid-interview area at Career Fair 2026 allowed selected candidates to bypass screening rounds and proceed directly to in-depth interviews. Hundreds of interviews were conducted successfully, giving students a pathway to join large multinational groups. Organizers said the process is not limited to rehearsal interviews, and many companies treat it as the first stage of formal recruitment.
Nestlé’s Head of Recruitment and Business Development, Truong Thi Phuong Thao, said: “From the rapid interviews, we aim to create internship opportunities so students can learn from real-world experiences and understand more about the work environment at the company. In particular, promising candidates will have the chance to be recognized and to develop further on their career path.” She also highlighted the Management Trainee program, designed to train young leaders within the group.
IPA Group’s recruitment officer Vu Thi Ngoc Diep said the company is actively seeking candidates for its Leadership Trainee program. She noted that many BUV alumni have passed early rounds and joined interviews at the event, adding that the discussions helped the company value “open-mindedness, confidence, and the ability to raise questions and challenge assumptions.”
Nestlé also emphasized its appreciation for BUV’s full-time internship program, saying it gives students enough time to understand the business and begin making meaningful contributions rather than “riding along” in shorter programs.
In the premium services segment, Capella Hanoi’s Training and Development Manager, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, praised the preparation of young candidates. She said BUV students not only demonstrate language proficiency, but also use industry-specific terminology and show an understanding of the stringent standards of luxury hospitality.
“BUV students clearly demonstrate career orientation, with careful preparation and proactive research into the company’s environment before participating in the interview. In luxury hospitality, agility of thinking, refined communication, and a professional appearance are key factors that convince us to hire for promising roles at the event,” Anh said. She added that BUV students also impress with leadership thinking and the ability to multitask.
IPA’s representative further stressed that the difference lies in how BUV students engage with the business world. “Candidates demonstrate the ability to exchange views, discuss, and even negotiate with employers as business partners. These are foundational capabilities with long-term value that are not easily formed and trained in a short time,” the representative said.
BUV Career Fair 2026 generated strong interest across the student body, reflecting demand in the global labor market for proactive, versatile graduates. The event encouraged students to look beyond traditional job searches and pursue environments with leadership potential, including multinational corporations, entrepreneurship, and modern work models such as Remote Careers and Hybrid arrangements.
To support successful on-site engagement, BUV students took part in the Getting Ready Series, a two-week preparatory program co-created by career guidance professionals, industry experts, and BUV alumni. At the Career Boost Zone, five CV and career guidance desks from recruiters and organizations including Navigos, iViec, LTS Group, Capella Hanoi, and Pro Guide Vietnam supported students in upgrading their profiles for stronger employer impressions.
The program covered mindset preparation, on-the-spot adaptability, professional presentation, and resume optimization, providing what organizers described as a “sturdy launchpad” to help students seize opportunities when meeting company representatives.
Career Fair 2026 was also positioned as evidence of the school’s strategic objective to ensure high-quality internships, connect talent with reputable organizations, and build an education ecosystem aligned with real-world labor market needs.
