The Phú Mỹ plant in Ho Chi Minh City will focus on large-capacity refrigerators ranging from 300 liters to more than 800 liters, a segment Hoa Phat Refrigeration says is central to both domestic demand and exports.
After introducing Funiki refrigerators to the North American market, Hoa Phat Refrigeration plans to build a new plant in Phú Mỹ with an investment of US$50 million. The facility is designed to produce 1.2 million units per year.
The plant will be oriented toward manufacturing large-capacity refrigerators for the domestic market and key export destinations, including North America, Europe, and several Asian countries.
The company targets three overseas markets—North America, Europe, and some Asian countries—where technical standards and energy-efficiency requirements are higher. To meet these standards, Hoa Phat Refrigeration applies a unified quality-control process across the entire production line, including OEM products. In addition to cooling products, Hoa Phat Refrigeration is developing new washing machines and dryers, expected to launch in 2026. This is intended to expand the Hoa Phat – Funiki consumer appliance lineup.
