LA Home’s social housing apartment complex topped out on 22 April 2026 in the LA Home urban area, marking a milestone in the development of the 500ha urban-ecological industrial city at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project is progressing toward completion around three months ahead of schedule, with the next phase focused on finishing works and resident handover.
The social housing complex comprises two 8-story blocks, providing more than 400 apartments for about 1,200 residents. It is the first social housing project in Long An and a key component of the broader plan for the entire urban area.
After the topping-out ceremony, the project will move into the finishing phase and is scheduled to be handed over to residents in December 2026.
The social housing cluster is set to benefit from a full range of city amenities, including a central park, shopping center, multi-functional sports center, healthcare center, and international-standard schools. It will also have convenient access to external facilities such as schools, the local administrative center, and healthcare services.
The apartments are designed to optimize functionality, harmonize with the landscape, and support a green living environment, aimed at meeting the housing needs of young families in a modern, connected, and sustainable setting.
Social housing completion is occurring alongside other key components, indicating the urban area’s progressive readiness to welcome residents. To date, the urban area has completed its technical infrastructure. The multi-purpose sports center has begun operation, and the central park covering 2.2ha is being accelerated for operation in June 2026.
In addition, low-rise homes in the LA Sol sub-area are being completed for handover to residents in Q4 2026, while the River Park sub-area remains under construction.
Located within the 100ha urban area adjacent to the Prodezi 400ha eco-industrial park and major industrial zones, the social housing project is designed to address housing needs for a rapidly increasing workforce in the region. It also establishes a resident base large enough to support the operation of a functioning city.
The social housing population is expected to generate regular and continuous consumer demand across the city. Once more than 400 units are occupied, the city is expected to see daily demand for services including dining and shopping, as well as education, healthcare, sports, entertainment, and other daily living needs. This demand is intended to support the development and expansion of amenities and services within the city and improve the attractiveness of other LA Home products such as townhouses, villas, and shophouses.
Over the long term, social housing is described as a crucial element in completing the city–industry integration. The Prodezi industrial park is expected to attract investment and business opportunities, while the LA Home urban area is intended to meet housing needs for high-quality professionals. Meanwhile, internal services are expected to satisfy daily resident needs. With the three components developed in parallel, LA Home is positioned with a foundation for sustainable, vibrant, and enduring growth.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
