Pi Network is entering a crucial phase this month, with around 239 million Pi tokens set to unlock over the next 30 days. That is a large chunk of new supply becoming tradable, while demand has not yet shown enough strength to absorb it quickly. As a result, Pi may struggle to move higher in the short term, even as prices appear to stabilize.
Between April 9 and April 19, a significant amount of Pi is scheduled to unlock, according to Piscan. The largest spikes occur mid-cycle, with about 18.28 million Pi unlocking on April 9.
Over the next 30 days, roughly 239.5 million Pi tokens are expected to unlock, representing about 4% of the total locked supply. On average, nearly 8 million Pi tokens are entering circulation daily.
The key concern is the imbalance between rising supply and comparatively weaker demand. Daily trading volumes are reported around $21–$26 million, which is relatively low compared with the scale of incoming tokens. This mismatch is creating bearish pressure on Pi’s price.
As of early April 2026, Pi is stabilizing around the $0.17–$0.18 range. The stabilization follows a steep correction of over 90% from its 2025 highs. The current sideways movement at lower levels suggests the market is attempting to absorb supply, but it has not yet shown clear signs of a strong recovery. A similar pattern was seen in March, when bullish events led to rallies that were later followed by sharp sell-offs as holders exited.
