On 07/04, stock-market proprietary trading desks returned to a net buying stance on HOSE, with a strong concentration on KBC. Foreign investors, by contrast, continued to sell, with emphasis on bank stocks. Among the prop traders, the net buying on HOSE turned positive by the close, totaling more than 386 billion VND. Notably, buying was centered on KBC, with over 331 billion VND, far outpacing the rest of the market. Meanwhile, net selling was modest, with TPB the largest seller at under 18 billion VND. Foreigners remained net sellers with substantial momentum, totaling nearly 790 billion VND (excluding block trades). In the session, three stocks posted net selling in the hundreds of billions, all within the banking sector: TCB about 179 billion, HDB over 162 billion, MBB about 141 billion. In addition, other bank stocks were among the top net sellers, including ACB, BID, CTG. On the buy side, VIC led with more than 53 billion, followed by DGC with 33 billion, VCK with nearly 31 billion. The foreign side continued net selling.
