In summer 2026, VIB is launching two promotional programs for individual customers, combining incentives for card spending with preferential car-loan terms for fuel-efficient vehicles. The initiatives include a chance to win an electric scooter or electric car through card usage, alongside car-loan packages with promotional interest rates starting from 6% per year for selected Honda and Hyundai models.
From April 1 to June 30, 2026, VIB will run the program “Swipe your VIB card and take home an electric vehicle,” with total prizes valued at up to 1.3 billion VND.
The program applies to global VIB cardholders, excluding VIB Ivy Card, VIB Online Plus 2in1, and VIB Family Link. Points are earned from two sources:
Under this “double-point” mechanism, customers who both spend regularly and maintain balances can accumulate points faster than spending alone.
Each month, customers who reach 50 points will receive cashback of up to 200,000 VND. The top three customers with the highest points in each month will each win an electric motorbike.
Each quarter, the customer with the highest total points—who also maintains spending across all three months—will receive one electric car valued up to 350 million VND. The electric car is the program’s largest prize.
Alongside the card-spending promotions, VIB is partnering with Honda Vietnam and Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam to offer loan packages for customers purchasing cars, particularly fuel-efficient models.
For Honda models, customers who complete purchases in April 2026 will receive a fixed rate of 7.5% per year for the first 12 months, along with 50% manufacturer registration tax support. Eligible models include City, CR-V, BR-V, and HR-V.
For Hyundai, selected models such as Stargazer are offered at rates from 6% per year for the first 6 months. The program targets customers looking to optimize financing costs during the early ownership period.
VIB notes that borrowers can continue using the payment card to accumulate points, receive cashback, and remain eligible for the electric motorbike and electric car prizes under the card-spending program.
By running both promotions together, VIB aims to encourage cashless spending while supporting ownership of fuel-efficient cars with optimized financing costs amid volatile gasoline prices.

Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise.
