BIDV has launched Direct Shop, an integrated sales-management solution built within the bank’s digital app. The platform offers more than 60 features aimed at supporting sales operations for small businesses, startups, and home-based enterprises.
Direct Shop is designed as an ecosystem of tools covering key business needs, including store management, human resources, order handling, invoicing, and revenue tracking. Users can create an online store directly within the BIDV Direct app, with role-based access control by position, such as manager, accountant, or salesperson.
Product and customer information is stored centrally in a structured format, enabling businesses to better understand buyer behavior and run targeted marketing campaigns.
For sales and order fulfillment, the system supports flexible order processing and accepts multiple payment methods, ranging from cash to QR-based transfers.
BIDV highlighted a feature that automatically identifies and reconciles invoices paid via QR. The bank said this helps accounting teams save 80% of the time spent on checks and reduces errors.
Business owners can monitor revenue and profit through real-time, visually intuitive dashboards. The platform also supports tracking sales performance, popular items, and peak hours, with the resulting data used to inform decision-making and sales-boosting plans.
For offline retailers, Direct Shop supports linking and managing sales via a Soundbox device to confirm transactions audibly when money is received. BIDV said this reduces the risk of mis-scanned QR codes or reconciliation errors.
The platform also includes automatic electronic invoicing functionality, designed to simplify invoicing processes and meet current regulations.
To mark the launch, BIDV said it will offer free lifetime use of Direct Shop for corporate customers registering to use the product, valid until June 30.
Small businesses converting to enterprises and newly established companies opening a BIDV Direct account will receive a startup kit that includes items such as a corporate digital signature and support for issuing electronic invoices, aimed at reducing early-stage costs and labor.
