For individual customers, the information to be updated includes: full name; date of birth; nationality; occupation and position; contact phone; national ID or citizen ID or personal identification number or passport number, issue date and place; permanent address and any current address if different; beneficial owner; purpose and nature of business relationship with BIDV; information about participation in legal agreements. For corporate customers: full trading name and abbreviations; registered address; trading address; license to operate, enterprise code or tax number; organization identification number; phone; fax; website; line of business; information about founders, legal representatives, CEO or managing director, chief accountant or accounting contact; beneficial owner; purpose and nature of business relationship with BIDV; information about participation in legal agreements. To protect customer rights and maintain stable account activity, customers with changes should promptly contact the nearest BIDV branch or transaction office for support before May 31, 2026. To facilitate convenience and save time, BIDV allows individual customers to update changes to identity documents themselves via the BIDV SmartBanking app by accessing the biometric settings. After the deadline, if the bank has not received any update notice, the system will automatically record that the customer’s profile has not been disturbed or changed.
