The Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Travel Services Company reports net profit after tax of about VND 29 billion for 2025, more than doubling the figure from the previous year. In a periodic report to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the company said pretax profit in 2025 rose sevenfold from the same period, from VND 15 billion to VND 103 billion. Net profit after tax stood at nearly VND 29 billion, more than double the year-ago figure. According to management, core business segments such as cable car operations, hotels, and entertainment activities all recorded growth in the year. The improvement in business activity helped reduce the company’s accumulated losses carried forward from previous years, from VND 222 billion to VND 194 billion. Profitability metrics such as return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) also improved, reaching 0.22% and 0.88% respectively. The company operates the Sun World Fansipan Legend complex; the cable car project began construction in November 2013 and has been in operation since February 2016. The entity’s equity stands at more than VND 4,800 billion, up sharply from VND 1,733 billion at the start of the period. As of year-end, total liabilities rose by about VND 2,200 billion to over VND 10,750 billion, including about VND 830 billion in domestic bonds. Despite higher leverage, indicators of short-term solvency, liquidity, and interest coverage improved, enabling the company to mobilize resources to meet near-term financial obligations.
