On April 7, MobiFone and Techcombank signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in the fields of finance, telecommunications, and digital technology. Under the agreement, MobiFone and Techcombank will jointly design and provide comprehensive financial solutions, directly serving two core customer groups: individuals and businesses. The parties also plan to roll out a series of joint marketing programs and develop cross-brand loyalty policies. This move aims to increase touchpoints, optimize the user experience, and strengthen customer engagement with both brands. Rather than relying on fragmented services, users now have the opportunity to experience financial utilities directly on a seamless telecommunications platform. Leaders of both organizations expect that the combination of a widespread telecom network and a modern banking platform will provide a strong push for cashless payments, while helping financial services reach a broader range of segments across the country. In technology, the two companies agreed to focus resources on developing digital financial platforms and next-generation payment intermediary systems. MobiFone and Techcombank will extensively apply AI and Big Data technologies in their operations. Mastery of these core technologies enables the system to accurately analyze user behavior and real needs, thereby personalizing financial products and services for each individual. This not only shortens transaction times but also improves the precision and relevance of product packages launched to the market. In addition to developing apps, the two sides also focus on upgrading the technical infrastructure. MobiFone and Techcombank will connect their telecommunications networks, data centers, and cloud computing platforms. To maximize the protection of shared data systems, the two enterprises prioritize the simultaneous deployment of high-level information security solutions. The processes of electronic identity verification (eKYC) and online transaction security receive substantial investment from both sides. In this way, the telecom operator and the bank work together to build a safe, sustainable operating platform with scalable capacity for the long term. Through this memorandum of understanding, MobiFone and Techcombank also express their strategic vision to accompany the national digital transformation. Representatives of the two companies reaffirm their commitment to technology, data, and connectivity as the main drivers, contributing to accelerating Vietnam's economy into a more comprehensive digital development era.
