Money-flow tracking on 06/04: Proprietary trading nets 543 billion dong in STB stock. The proprietary trading desk unexpectedly shifted to a strong net seller on 06/04, with the selling focused on STB, while foreign investors narrowed their selling pace. The session on 06/04 recorded proprietary traders net selling more than 415 billion dong on HOSE, with STB the focal point as it was sold down by 543 billion dong. This movement contrasts with 31/03, when the group net bought STB up to 541 billion dong. The gap in net selling between STB and the following stocks is sizable, as VPB ranked second with 143 billion dong, and NVL ranked third but at only 26 billion dong. On the buying side, proprietary money concentrated in a few individual names. MSN and MWG led with net buys around 48 billion dong each, followed by TCB with about 40 billion dong. Meanwhile, foreigners cooled their net selling to just over 120 billion dong. Selling pressure was mainly in the banking group, with TCB and MBB seeing net outflows of around 94–95 billion dong each, followed by HDB with 85 billion dong. On the buy side, VIC was the strongest net buyer with 62 billion dong, followed by GEX with 52 billion and VNM with 49 billion.
