PYN Elite Fund, a Finnish investment fund, has increased its stake in Saigon Hanoi Securities Corporation (SHS), listed on HOSE, after completing a bulk equity purchase that made it the company’s largest shareholder.
In its trading report, PYN Elite said it completed the purchase of 15 million SHS shares on the open market. The transaction raised the fund’s stake in SHS from 5.3% to 6.9%. The ownership change date was March 31.
With the increase, the fund led by Petri Deryng has become SHS’s largest shareholder. TT Group is listed as the second-largest shareholder with a 5.57% stake.
In PYN Elite’s most recent reports, SHS had not been among the fund’s top investments. However, Deryng and colleagues appear to favor the securities sector: the equities segment allocation was 13.4% as of March 11, 2026, slightly below the banking sector, which accounted for 35%.
