Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO) said it has made the Tigo GO Battery available in Europe, adding a next-generation energy storage system to its Tigo GO optimized product line. The battery joins the GO EV Charger and GO Junction for heat pump integration. The company said the system can be expanded up to 47.9kWh, uses lightweight plug-and-play modules to speed installation, and is designed to operate in cold weather down to -30°C. Installer preorders are available, with shipping scheduled to begin in June 2026.
The GO Battery is built for European demand using a modular architecture based on 3.68kWh battery units. Installers can configure systems starting at 7.3kWh for compact installations and scaling up to 47.9kWh for larger households with higher energy consumption. Each battery module weighs 34kg, which Tigo said is intended to support faster deployment while maintaining a compact footprint for space-constrained sites.
Tigo said the modular design is intended to allow future capacity expansion as household energy needs change, enabling residents to add battery modules without extensive rework or replacing existing infrastructure.
The company said the GO Battery is designed for backward compatibility with all Tigo inverters sold in the European market, including products from the Tigo EI Residential Solar Solution. It supports both single-phase and three-phase configurations and a maximum charge and discharge current of 50 Amps, which Tigo said is intended to enable faster energy cycling for households with variable consumption patterns.
Installers can monitor and manage GO Battery systems through the Tigo EI platform, with unit-level visibility and remote diagnostics capabilities intended to reduce service calls and truck rolls. The system uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry and includes an IP65 enclosure rating for indoor and outdoor installations.
Tigo said the GO Battery carries CE and UKCA certifications and complies with European grid standards, including VDE-AR-E2510 and CEI 0-21.
Tigo said the launch comes as several European countries set new all-time single-day records for solar energy production. The company also cited that global solar installations grew by 11% between 2024 and 2025.

Bindi added that the GO Battery was developed in collaboration with installers, with a modular architecture intended to simplify system design and installation while delivering flexibility and reliability for residential applications.
