TPBank said at its 2026 annual general meeting (AGM) that it will propose the election of two additional members to its board of directors for the 2023–2028 term, including one independent director.
The bank’s proposed candidates are Do Quynh Anh and Nguyen Thi Huong Trang.
Do Quynh Anh holds more than 85 million TPBank shares, equivalent to about 3.07% of the bank’s capital. She is the daughter of former TPBank Vice Chairman Do Anh Tu.
In March 2025, Do Anh Tu resigned from the board for personal reasons. His resignation was approved by the board and later by the 2025 AGM.
Do Quynh Anh was born in 1995. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Vassar College and has more than six years of experience in accounting and auditing, including nearly four years at PwC Vietnam. She is currently completing a master’s degree abroad.
Nguyen Thi Huong Trang, the independent director candidate, was born in 1978 and holds a Master’s degree from the Academy of Finance.
Ms. Trang has more than 24 years of experience in financial accounting across firms and has held multiple management roles in accounting and auditing. She previously spent nearly eight years with Diana Unicharm and is currently the chief accountant of the company.
Earlier, on 31 December 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Suong submitted her resignation as a board member effective 1 January 2026. At the upcoming AGM, TPBank will approve the dismissal of Ms. Suong from the 2023–2028 term.
