Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim, wife of To Hai, a member of the Vietcap Securities JSC board (ticker: VCI, HoSE), has registered to sell all 16.91 million VCI shares she currently holds in a period from 13 April to 12 May 2026 for personal reasons. If the sale is completed, Ms. Thien Kim will no longer hold any VCI shares. Meanwhile, Mr. To Hai owns 174.33 million shares, representing 15.19% of VCI’s capital.
As of the close on 7/4, VCI shares traded at VND 27,200 per share. Using this price as a reference, the transaction is estimated to be worth about VND 460 billion to Ms. Thien Kim.
Ms. Thien Kim (born 1976) is an entrepreneur in the F&B sector, behind the Katinat beverage brand and Phê La. She holds 84.21% of Café Katinat and 51% of Phê La. She is also the CEO of CTCP D1 Concepts. The company was originally founded as Lim Lai, later renamed Capella D1 (described as a member of Capella Holdings). In 2020, Capella D1 was renamed to D1 Concepts, which owns brands such as San Fu Lou, Sorae Sushi Sake & Lounge, and Dì Mai, among others.
Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim also serves on the board of IDP (Sữa Quốc tế Lof), where her husband is the chair.
Vietcap recently announced management changes following its 2026 AGM held on 30 March 2026. The meeting elected seven board members (including two independent directors) and three members of the Supervisory Board for the 2026–2031 term. The six continuing board members remained, with Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong as chair and Mr. Đinh Quang Hoàn as vice chair.
The new Supervisory Board lineup includes Mrs. Truong Thi Huyen Trang, Mrs. Bui Thi Minh Nguyet, and Mrs. Hong Anh Nguyet, with Ms. Bui Minh Nguyet taking the role of Head of Supervisory Board.
For 2026, Vietcap’s business plan targets revenue of VND 6,525 billion and pre-tax profit of VND 2,300 billion, up 30% and 41% respectively from 2025. The plan also proposes a dividend payout of 5–12%.
The AGM also approved an ESOP plan for 2026, with a maximum issuance of 4.6 million shares at VND 11,000 per share. The issuance is subject to a one-year lock-up, and implementation is expected after the 297.5 million bonus shares issuance is completed.
