Huy Thanh Jewelry Co., Ltd. (Huy Thanh Jewelry) has issued an official statement on its Fanpage following the audit conclusions released by the State Bank Inspectorate.
The audit was conducted under Decision No. 108/QĐ.KV1-TTKV dated December 10, 2025, concerning an unexpected audit of Huy Thanh Jewelry’s Gold–Silver–Gemstone business by the Chief Inspector of the State Bank, Region I branch.
According to the audit results, Huy Thanh Jewelry generally complies with applicable laws in its business operations. The company is reported to maintain full conditions for producing jewelry gold, publicly list prices, use invoices and documents in accordance with regulations, and implement a structured anti-money laundering program.
The audit authority also stated there were no signs of actions by the company that could destabilize the gold market.
Despite the overall compliance assessment, the audit identified shortcomings, mainly related to report submission timeliness, administrative procedures, and errors in tax declarations.
In the urgent audit conclusion, NHNN Area I stated that, overall, during the audit period Huy Thanh Jewelry complied with state regulations on gold trading.
However, the inspection noted gaps, including procedures for amending the certificate of eligibility for producing gold jewelry when there are changes in the production location.
The inspectorate also concluded that the enterprise mis-declared, leading to underpayment of corporate income tax, and that it failed to submit Appendix I as required.
NHNN Area I issued penalties for violations in monetary and banking activities, including:
NHNN Area I also sent a dossier of administrative violations to the Hanoi City Tax Department for consideration of additional penalties.
In addition, the company was required to implement three recommendations to address the shortcomings identified in the audit conclusion.
Huy Thanh Jewelry said it will seriously incorporate all audit conclusions and promptly rectify violations as required by the competent authorities.
