The Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway expansion project is preparing to assemble and cast the deck slab for the Ngòi Bục Bridge, at Km150 in Mau A commune. The bridge comprises six spans and two piers, with a total length of nearly 200 meters. Once the structure stabilizes, the plan is to install the girder system; the deck formwork has already been cast for spans 2, 3, and 4 at the midpoint of the Ngòi Bục stream. The contractor is pursuing a wrap-up approach, completing sections as they are ready—first stabilizing the lower piers before the rainy season, then casting girders, hoisting girders, and installing deck formwork at the middle spans before the rainy season. The remaining two piers and two abutments will be carried out in parallel according to the schedule, Duong added.
