Two environmental sector companies, Urban Environment Đông Anh JSC (UPCoM: MDA) and Nam Định Environment JSC (UPCoM: MND), have been placed on warning by the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) effective 10 April. The action is linked to charter capital and owner’s equity figures that do not meet the updated requirements under the amended Securities Law.
The HNX cited that the contributed charter capital and owner’s equity reported in the companies’ 2025 audited financial statements fall below the required threshold of 30 billion VND.
As of year-end 2025, the contributed charter capital was reported at approximately 22 billion VND for MND and approximately 12 billion VND for MDA—both below the 30 billion VND requirement.
Regarding owner’s equity in the 2025 audited statements, MDA reported approximately 29 billion VND, while MND reported approximately 25.7 billion VND. Both figures are also below the 30 billion VND threshold required for public companies.
Under the warning process, both companies have 15 days from the warning date to submit explanations to HNX and propose remedial measures.
With charter capital and owner’s equity below the required level in the 2025 audited financial statements, MDA and MND face the risk of not meeting the public company standards in the near future.
